This session will discuss research findings from our mixed method study to identify early childhood (EC) teachers™ barriers to higher education (N=320, center-based and family care teachers), through partnership with Quality Start San Bernardino. Survey and interview themes will be discussed regarding barriers and course delivery preferences. Finally, the session will share steps being taken to connect with local higher education institutions to increase access for EC teachers. This session will seek reactions and feedback from the audience.
